Professional Fantasy Art and Illustration Webring

Professional Fantasy Art and Illustration Webring PROFESSIONAL FANTASY ART & ILLUSTRATION RING
This WebRing is intended to ease the search for professional Science Fiction and Fantasy Art Illustrators on the World Wide Web. In order to be a member of this ring, the artist must be Professionally published by any company in the respective industry. This ring will feature the best artists in the industry and new aspiring fantasy artists.

This ring's sole purpose is to provide an easy way to navigate the websites of professional artists. It will feature new artists every week. Please bear with me with any delays as I work a full schedule. ...Yes, I know its a bit to read but it explains all the details...

Any professionally published, or up and coming artist, is welcome to apply. Amateurs should apply to Elfwood or Epilogue.net. or the new Directory of Art & Illustration. These are wonderful resources for Fantasy Art on the Web, but this ring will enable professional artists to have a linking system geared for them.

WHY JOIN THIS RING?
This ring will promote ALL OF ITS MEMBERS, who have no focused archive on the Internet There are many nice archives that list artists as text links, but no information about them and/or no easy way to navigate through them. Yes, currently other archives are more complete but they lack an easy navigational system to quickly navigate through them. Building any ring or archive takes a tremendous amount of time and energy.

WHAT INTERNET EXPERIENCE DOES THE RINGMASTER HAVE?
The Ringmaster is a Professional Illustrator and Professional Web Designer. He has achieved a considerably high ranking on numerous search engines for selected key words. Type "illustration" into Google and see where he ranks. Type "Fantasy Illustration" or "Fantasy artist" into any search engine to see his ranking.

WHAT OTHER BENEFITS WILL MEMBERS HAVE?
The ring when more comprehensive will have a marketing strategy and be sent out to numerous art buyers and art directors from many top tier companies in the advertising and publishing industries. The email campaign will have the URL of the members list page, also known as the ring hub. It will be sent out under its title with a brief description about it.

WHAT'S INVOLVED - 2 Steps that take 10 minutes in total?
Just sign up with the page you want visitors from the ring to see first. Then add the code for the ring into the body of your page. You must have the ring code on the exact page that you submit to the ring during signup. Please do not just sign-up and never add the code. I'm as busy as all of you. I will give you 5 days to add the code after you sign up. So sign up when you have the time to add the code. After that you will need to resign-up.

DO NOT HIDE THE RING PAGE!
You must have the ring code on a page that will be archived by the search engines. It cannot be on a page that cannot be accessed from your home page. In otherwords I must be able to find a link to the webring page from your home page. * PLEASE MAKE THE PAGE LOOK NICE. I will NOT accept sites that have pages full of webrings. This ring is above that. It is being geared to take you right to a doorway or to the art itself. If you make a doorway page add a link to it from your home page or links page. It must look professional. If its on a links page (I prefer it is not a links page) make sure there is a clear way to enter your site. *Remember, this is the page that visitors will see when they click onto your site.

WHAT IS A DOORWAY PAGE?
Originally used for search engine optimization - it is not used today because it really doesn't work, nor is any site penalized by using one. It is basically a page that is an exact copy of your Homepage that has the ring code on it. In otherwords copy your index.html and re-title it then add the code. Then link to it from your homepage for the search engines to spider it. The only people who see this are the ones who enter from the webring code on member pages. View my example.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MOVE MY RING PAGE AFTER I HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP?
Just change your settings in the webring from this URL. Then add the new code or just change the ID number of the code. Any changed page will have a new number.

WHAT IS CONSIDERED PROFESSIONAL?
Generally a professional artist is one who makes their living from their art. This WebRing is Strictly professional, however this ring will allow most talented semi-professional artists who are starting out and have broken in to the field to be included. You must have been commissioned and published by any company in the Fantasy industry. Sites that are unorganized, hard to look at or thrown together and not well designed, will not be accepted. The Webmaster reserves the right to decline any submission and delete any site from the ring for any reason deemed appropriate. He will generally give ample notice or reason.

HOW DO I JOIN?

Simply click here or on the join link on any members site.
